My name is Gabriella Andrea Martinez, and I’m from the biggest small town in the world—Fresno, California. I’m ready to launch my music career and share with the world what music truly means to me.

I’ve been playing piano since I was four years old. I played consistently until my moody teenage years, when I quit entirely (and quite literally threw my music books in a dumpster). When high school rolled around, a friend from middle school convinced me to help him perform at our church, The Hills. From that night during my sophomore year on, I was inseparable from my keyboard, microphone, in-ears, and pack—performing live music nearly five days a week.

When COVID hit, I was devastated and forced to step away from live performance. However, during that time—and with TikTok on the rise—I discovered improvisation and began writing my own music, some of which I’ll be releasing later this year.

In 2021, I began my freshman year at Santa Clara University, where I pursued a major in Finance and a minor in Music. I studied piano, voice, musicianship, music theory, and performed in a contemporary “new music” ensemble.

During my junior year, a friend connected me with a group looking for a female singer and keyboardist. Luckily, I happened to be both. That’s when I joined Willesden Green, and we quickly began performing regularly—on campus, off campus, in bars, in open fields, and even on the radio. We cultivated our sound out of a humble garage and recorded our music back home in Fresno at our church.

We are currently releasing our music piece by piece, beginning with our first single, “Saturday’s Gone.”

Today, I’m based in San Francisco, balancing my day job with my passion for music. I’m actively seeking performance opportunities that allow me to share my voice more widely—a strength I feel ready to fully step into. I want the world to hear my voice, and I believe that starts with wonderful restaurants, bars, and tastemakers like you.
